It's a great way for people to watch you work. You don't need a webcam, unless you want to show people how you sketch/draw traditionally.
I will tell you, that I can disagree a lot and be finicky with programs and any running media, it tends to be a hit and miss with a lot of people and it depends on how full your comp is.
When I was using it, it lagged a lot when I used GIMP and Manga Studio, but it ran fine with MyPaint, you'd just have to play with it and see what programs won't lag it out and make it crash.
But all in all, it's a great little thing.
