My very own life-sized Mokey Mokey(Moke Moke) duel monster.

I made this little guy to go with my Yugioh GX Motegi Mokeo/Belowski costume I made for AnimeFEST. I had originally planned to just make him a plushy, but decided because of his shape he'd be best utilized going triple-time as a Plushy, Backpack and Pillow. ^.^
I started with a vinyl rectangular backpack that I bought at CCA and glued upholstery foam to the sides to fill it out and give it cushioning. Then I sewed sort of a MokeyMokey slip-cover out of lightblue fleece. I had to leave for the convention before I could finish him on my sewing machine so I sewed his arms, legs, wings & questionmark-halo by hand and assembled him in the hotel room. The question mark is made of fleece stuffed with batting with some hanger wire inside for support. The wings were cut from the sleeve of an old turtleneck shirt I bought from a thrift store.
A very affordable and fun little creature to make. And very useful too, since I was able to carry my decks, snacks, money, ID, etc in him (Motegi has no pockets since he... well... doesn't really own anything besdes his cards 6_6), and Mokey Mokey was very comfy to lay my head on when I was tired.
This plushy duel monster also helped make my cosplay character more identifiable... well... as "the kid who loves MokeyMokey" anyway. ;
